A spot of local storytelling
As part of the 'Montgomeryshire Folk and Fables' project, Masquerade enablers spent several months collecting stories, through speaking with the older and wiser, reading through many books, and endless hours researching on the internet.
The first of these stories, 'The Master Shoemakers of Llanfyllin', was read to the group.
Working on part of the story
The members formed into smaller groups, to work together to portray their favourite part of the story.
Going through their paces
Another group working on part of 'The Master Shoemakers of Llanfyllin'.
Performing the story
After a short break for resfreshments, the groups performed their scenes to their first audience.
A re-match is demanded

A game of Cat and Mouse
How about a game of Cat and Mouse to keep eveybody on their toes?!
The Cat has to hop...
... but so does the Mouse!
the Mouse can run...
...but the Cat has to walk.
